Soft Metals have released a video for their moody, sensual track No Turning Back.\u00a0<\/em>For this\u00a0latest video, the duo brought in video and performance artist Erica Schreiner, whose other-worldly\u00a0aesthetic is perfectly\u00a0fit the song’s mysterious seduction. Watch the video below via YouTube.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The video<\/em>\u00a0is based on the tarot card: 8 of Cups. Inside each cup there is a heart, which are ripped in half, punctured, unraveled, devoured, shattered, and smashed to illustrate different ways in which we feel destroyed,<\/em>” Schreiner says. “The paradox of heartbreak is the impossibility to return to the original pre-destroyed state, as you cannot return to what no longer is yet you remain forever changed by it.\u00a0This video shows the one doing the breaking and becoming permanently rendered as turning their back on love.”<\/em><\/p>\n

This spring, Soft Metals will head to Europe for a month long tour beginning at\u00a0the end of April.<\/p>\n
