Japandroids share new song ‘No Known Drink or Drug’

Japandroids

Japandroids’ third album, ‘Near To The Wild Heart Of Life,’ will be available at your local record store first on vinyl, Tuesday, January 24, and everywhere else on January 27 via Arts & Crafts. To get us ready for the album, the band has shared another new track from it, No Known Drink or Drug. You can take a listen via Soundcloud here.

‘Near To The Wild Heart Of Life’ has been named one of the most anticipated albums of 2017 by Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, CBC, Exclaim!, NPR, Pitchfork, and Stereogum. The band released their first single, the album’s title track, in late 2016, with Pitchfork calling it “a quintessential Japandroids song… anti-nostalgia that encourages you to figure out what you want out of life and how to make it happen this moment.” Listen to Near To The Wild Heart Of Life here.

A pre-order for the album is up now at japandroids.com, with the option to buy the special 7″ edition of the title track single featuring a B-side cover of Talking Heads’ Love → Building on Fire.

Japandroids will set out on a headlining tour of North America beginning on February 13, which will find them playing their biggest show to date at New York City’s Terminal 5 on February 23, as well as multiple nights in Toronto, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Los Angeles, before wrapping in their hometown of Vancouver, on March 20.
