Modern Vinyl has premiered Practical Skateboard, the second single from Lawnmower’s ‘Major Head Injury’ LP, which is due out via Save Your Generation Records on August 21.
Influenced by equal parts 90’s pop/punk and 90’s alternative rock, ‘Major Head Injury’ has the band moving away from the Lemonheads, Weezer and Superchunk comparisons they were tagged with on their 7″ EP Whack Yer Brain and drawing on influences from Pixies, Pavement, Eugenius, Husker Du and Dinosaur Jr.
