Mackage will show its Spring / Summer 2015 collection at World MasterCard Fashion Week on Wednesday, October 22 at 8 pm. Elisa Dahan and Eran Elfassy, co-creative directors of Mackage, drew this season’s inspiration from a bustling metropolis, evoking the feeling of strength and excitement that runs through the veins of a world class city.“The energy in a city is electrifying for us and we channeled that feeling directly into our Spring/Summer 2015 collection with dynamic colours and inventive tailoring,” said Eran Elfassy, co-creative director of Mackage.“We love showing our collection at World MasterCard Fashion Week and look forward to showing off our creativity on the runway for another season,” said Elisa Dahan, co-creative director of Mackage.
In addition to some newer silhouettes, Mackage will continue to use traditional shapes in outerwear including the moto jacket and bomber but will breathe life into them by incorporating shades of bright pink, electric yellow and cobalt blue. The colour palette is meant to bring a burst of energy into a wardrobe and maintain Mackage’s concept that a coat should be the focal point of an outfit, not a piece that someone quickly removes upon entering a room.
In celebration of its SS15 collection launch at World MasterCard Fashion Week, Mackage will offer two exclusive shopping opportunities at Harry Rosen and Holt Renfrew with designer appearances. On Saturday, October 18 from 1 to 5 p.m., for one day only, Harry Rosen Yorkdale, will offer men the Mackage collection with some select additional pieces. On Saturday, October 25 from 2 to 5 p.m. @ Holt Renfrew Yorkdale, shop and pre-order the Spring/Summer 2015 collection hot off the runway.
