Magic Shoppe return with new EP ‘High Goodbye’

Magic Shoppe

Magic ShoppeLittle Cloud Records have released the new EP, ‘High Goodbye’ from Boston’s Magic Shoppe, a psychedelic garage rock quartet who create dreamy, fuzz laden soundscapes. Take a listen to ‘High Goodbye’ via Bandcamp below.

Magic Shoppe are known for their spellbinding live performances under liquid lights creating hypnotic reverb rock. The band released the ‘Interstellar Crash Crash’ EP in February 2016 and it was filled with feedback, metronomic beats and reverb harmonies. The was followed by the ‘Wonderland’ LP that shifted to warmer fuzz, dual vocal harmonies and delay enhanced riffs.

On ‘High Goodbye’, the title track opens with swirling layers of reverb drenched guitar before delayed vocals come in to the mix. Lost in Space jangles away with compelling beats, tambourines and hazy vocals. Her Ritual channels krautrock with robotic drumming and repeated patterns. The final track My Mind’s Eye, is a bit rockier with its garage opening and raw static ending.

Catch the band live in Europe between September 12 – 22 2017 in Paris, Rennes, Barcelona, Bayonne, Marseille, Tübingen, Zwevegem, Exter and Liverpool.
