A Visionary Fusion of Sound + Image
Helmed by acclaimed visual artist Jonathan Zawada, ‘Tall Tales’ isn’t just an album—it’s a fully realized cinematic journey. Zawada, known for his innovative blend of analog and digital techniques (working with Coachella, Flume, The Avalanches, Röyksopp, and Dua Lipa), directed, animated, and edited this mesmerizing visual experience.
Developed alongside the album over several years, ‘Tall Tales’ contrasts haunting natural landscapes with the stark brutality of a dystopian future. With Yorke’s evocative lyrics, Pritchard’s intricate electronic compositions, and Zawada’s striking imagery, the project explores the consequences of unchecked “progress.” The result? A prophetic and immersive film—arriving precisely when we need it most.

Exclusive Collector’s Zine
Attendees of the screenings will also have the chance to receive a limited-edition zine, designed by Zawada, offering a deeper look into the themes and inspirations behind ‘Tall Tales.’ As a teaser, he’s released an intriguing excerpt that delves into the theft of the famous sculpture The Thinker.

A Sonic Experience Unlike Any Other
Fans have already had a taste of ‘Tall Tales’ through two stunning singles, accompanied by striking music videos:
- This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice, currently A-listed on BBC bRadio 6 Music.
- Back In The Game, plus a LIVE performance from the Sydney Opera House.
Mark Pritchard: A UK Electronic Icon
Pritchard has been shaping the electronic music landscape since the ‘90s, known for his work as Reload, Link, and Global Communication (with Tom Middleton). His remix credits span Aphex Twin, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey, and Slowdive. In 2011, he reworked Radiohead’s Bloom—a hint at the synergy now fully realized on ‘Tall Tales.’
A Deeply Layered Album
Marking Yorke’s first release on Warp Records, ‘Tall Tales’ is a genre-defying exploration of sound and storytelling. Across 12 intricate tracks, Pritchard resurrects forgotten synthesizers from the past, weaving eerie, atemporal textures, while Yorke delivers some of his most haunting and introspective vocals yet.
