Biggest headlining tour yet—Including sold-out shows & major festival appearances

Momma is back and bolder than ever. With their highly anticipated album ‘Welcome to My Blue Sky’ dropping this Friday, the Brooklyn-based rockers just unleashed Rodeo, a raw and emotionally charged new single accompanied by a striking Richard Phillip Smith-directed video. The song packs a punch with its pummeling riffs, sharp drum beats, and hauntingly sweet vocals—capturing the bittersweet ache of being left behind in love.

This song is written from the perspective of two people we kind of left behind, romantically,” explain Allegra Weingarten (she/her) and Etta Friedman (they/them). “It’s our attempt at honoring their stories by tapping into the feeling of being replaced. The video brings that to life—set on an ice rink with a skater circling us, chased by a bull. It mirrors that feeling of being stuck in the center of the rodeo, watching someone else race ahead.”

‘Welcome to My Blue Sky’ is already shaping up to be a breakthrough moment for Momma. Praised by The New York Times as “diligent students of artful distortion and dreamy melodies” and hailed by The FADER as “a love letter to getting older and the relationships that actually last,” the album captures the band’s transformation with grunged-out guitars, pop hooks, and a whole lot of heart.

On the rise:
Momma made their late-night TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week with a blistering performance of their rising radio hit I Want You (Fever).

Singles from the album—Ohio All The Time, Bottle Blonde, and Rodeo—have already earned high praise from The New York Times, The FADER, PAPER, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, SPIN, and more. Their fresh, dynamic sound has also caught the attention of legends like Mark Hoppus (After School Radio) and secured them spots at major festivals including Primavera Sound (Barcelona & Porto) and Outbreak Festival (London & Manchester).

Biggest tour yet:
Kicking off later this month, Momma’s headlining tour includes three already sold-out shows at their largest venues to date—The Sinclair in Cambridge (May 28), The Atlantis in Washington, D.C. (May 29), and Brooklyn’s Warsaw (May 31). Tickets are moving fast—get yours now!

About ‘Welcome to My Blue Sky’
Recorded live at Brooklyn’s Studio G and produced by Aron Kobayashi Ritch (he/him), ‘Welcome to My Blue Sky’ builds on the momentum of 2022’s ‘Household Name,’ which catapulted the band to new heights. With the addition of drummer Preston Fulks (they/them), the album’s 12 tracks balance the raw energy of rock with infectious pop melodies, showcasing Momma’s commitment to storytelling and emotional depth.

This time around, we weren’t worried about being cool or heavy,” Weingarten shares. “We just wanted to focus on solid songwriting—something people could sing along to and truly feel.”

The result? A deeply personal, sonically rich album that channels the highs and lows of life on the road, friendships, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Written largely on acoustic guitars during a whirlwind mid-2022 tour, ‘Welcome to My Blue Sky‘ is both a love letter to change and a declaration of artistic evolution.
