MURDER BY DEATH ANNOUNCE KICKSTARTER FOR FINAL ALBUM, ‘EGG & DART’
A Farewell Album Full of Heart, Haunting Melodies, and Unforgettable Goodbyes

Murder By Death is closing a remarkable chapter with ‘Egg & Dart’—their final album, set for release in summer 2025. A powerful collection of songs about goodbyes, this album is their most poignant yet, blending sorrow, triumph, desolation, and joy in a way only they can. The title, referencing an ancient architectural motif symbolizing life and death, perfectly encapsulates the record’s theme: the beauty and inevitability of moving on.

Recorded in Los Angeles with Kevin Ratterman, ‘Egg & Dart’ is entirely self-released, staying true to the band’s hands-on approach. To bring this farewell album to life, Murder By Death has launched a Kickstarter, offering fans an array of exclusive rewards—including limited edition vinyl, merch, live recordings, bonus tracks, test pressings, and boxed set bundles. A Farewell Tour to Remember

In addition to the album, Murder By Death is embarking on an expansive farewell tour spanning June through November 2025, covering the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. This tour will be a celebration of 25 years of music and memories, featuring an incredible lineup of supporting artists including Laura Jane Grace, William Elliott Whitmore, AJJ, Shawn James, BJ Barham, and J Roddy Walston in select cities.
