Today, I opened my email inbox to a very pleasant surprise – an email from David Lee Rad introducing his new track, …The Morning We Woke Up. This is an atmospheric song in the vein of M83 and Spiritualized that meanders and builds a beautiful sonic landscape. David Lee Rad fittingly describes the track as “A simple love song…when love is new and good and exciting! It’s the first kiss, the first time you realize you’ll never be the same.” After hearing this synth heavy and spaced out vocals on this track, I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more from this New York based artist.
