Perhapsy shares video for ‘Neverending Story’

Perhapsy

PerhapsyMusician / graphic artist Derek Barber has moved around Michigan and Bay Area music circles, making a name for himself with his jazz inflicted, inimitable guitar work. Barber is currently a touring member of both Bells Atlas and the new Christopher Owen band, Curls, as well as a contributor to Madeline Kenney and Astronauts, etc., yet he has somehow found time to craft dense emo-pop under his moniker Perhapsy.

He’s just shared Neverending Story which is lifted off his forthcoming LP. Sounding somewhere between My Bloody Valentine and Siamese Dream era Smashing Pumpkins, the single is paired with a weird video depicting Barber as a Public Access preacher who develops a cult following.
