Canadian-Brazilian shoegaze band Palm Haze has released a new remix of their track Stay Cool. The reworked version is courtesy of Swedish music producer Pontus Wallgren. Check out the new Stay Cool remix below.
Stay Cool was originally released as a single lifted from Palm Haze’s new album ‘Rêve Bleu,’ which was released in August via YHS records. While the album version of the song has been often associated with a darker and Lynchian vibe, this new remix by Pontus almost feels like it’s taken from the soundtrack of games like Hotline Miami or movies like Drive. You just can’t help but imagine a pink vaporwave sunset and neon lights.
