Portland dream pop duo Found Space have shared their new single Turning Over a New Leaf. The track is lifted from their upcoming debut EP ‘Closer,’ which will be out on June 28th via Spirit Goth Records (digital/cassette). Hear Turning Over a New Leaf via Bandcamp below.

With the intentions of launching a legitimate solo project after failed high school bands, Spen Oliver wrote 100’s of songs before writing the single Don’t Let It Go, which ended up featuring the vocals of Lillian Christopher and the production of Jackson Phillips (aka Day Wave). This unexpected gathering on the project’s debut would end up defining Portland, OR based Found Space, both in name and in sound.

Four years later, after a pandemic hiatus, Found Space is set to release their debut EP ‘Closer,’ bringing Oliver’s cumulative vision to light. Featuring vocals from both Christopher and Oliver, ‘Closer’ is a personal analysis of desire, longing, and change through the lens of nostalgic Dream Pop. ‘Closer’ will be released June 28th, 2024 via Spirit Goth records.
