Flint, Michigan post-rock outfit Greet Death are preparing to release their sophomore LP ‘New Hell’. Following up their debut album ‘Dixieland’, the trio have furthered their exploration into misty shoegaze atmospheres, soaring guitar riffs, and wistful lyricism. Watch the visualizer Greet Death’s latest single, You’re Gonna Hate What You’ve Done, via YouTube below.

This new LP harkens back to the most emotionally poignant, relentlessly melodic facets of their debut ‘Dixieland’.  ‘New Hell,’ as a whole, is an exercise in refraction and reflection: Within a gauzy haze their personal subject matter is cleverly cloaked amid beautiful vocal deliveries and dreamy guitar work. Lovingly constructed before buckling beneath its own emotional weight, the album is a hook-laden triumph of towering proportions. Employing top-tier personnel for its recording, ‘New Hell’ was recorded by Nick Diener (The Swellers) at Oneder Studios, with additional tracking done by Jake Morse. It was all mastered by Jay Maas at Getaway Recording, and artwork for the release was created by illustrator Liam Rush.
