Brooklyn-based rockers Russian Baths have shared a new video for their single Poolhouse. Check it out via YouTube below.
The video premiered on Culture Collide who said, “This is primo, post-hardcore pop in the vein of early Chapel Hill, with a dash of 70s space rock and raw Pixie-esque sparsity.”
Russian Baths adds, “Poolhouse’ is about an existential crisis. It’s about feeling so overwhelmed that you can’t see the way out. It’s about moments of calm and hope being submerged in waves of pressure. It’s about losing your breath because of fear.”
Poolhouse is is lifted from the band’s debut EP ‘Penance,’ which has amassed thousands of streams, hit the top of Hype Machine and drawn acclaim from outlets like Paste Magazine who said their, “polished brand of psych rock is enveloping, swallowing its listener whole.”
