The Soft Moon share ‘Black’ remix

Luis Vasquez, a.k.a. The Soft Moon are back, and revealed their dark, bass heavy new track Black in December. Today, The Soft Moon shared Trentemøller’s take on Black. Using only bits of the the vocals and synth, Trentemøller built a “new soundscape with bass, guitars, a drum machine and…a vintage monophonic synth from ’74”, thus “heightening the tension and the tune’s capable dancefloor potential” [FADER]. On March 31st, he will release ‘Deeper,’ his most personally reflective album to date, one where he finally “felt the urge to express [himself]”

In support of the ‘Deeper’, The Soft Moon head out on a month-long North American tour, which includes a performance at Austin Psych Fest. We are totally psyched for the Toronto date, which will be the first time Luis rolled through town since NXNE 2013. Immediately following that, he will head to Europe for the month of May.
