Ohio-based sonic demolitionists / production duo Hexadiode have enlisted a group of friends to manipulate a bunch of their tracks and have released ‘Controlled Burn’. ‘Controlled Burn’ follows their lauded debut album ‘Ibex’ and their latest collection of electronic songs, ‘Metaxy,’ which saw release via EPK Product in CD format on September 20, 2019 and the vinyl and digital release on October 31, 2019. ‘Controlled Burn’ is a string of experiments performed by a diverse roster of sound mangling scientists spanning the globe during the socially distant summer and fall of 2020. As Halloween also marks the one year anniversary of ‘Metaxy,’ Hexadiode couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to listen back through the interpretive lenses of some creative friends.
