Earlier this Fall, as Spielbergs kicked-off their biggest ever UK headline tour, the band have announced that they would be releasing a new EP ‘Running All The Way Home’. Now, the band have shared another new track, This Is Not The End. Sharing the same name as their critically acclaimed album, the track sees the band embrace their heavier influences, walking us further into the darker side of their material.
The band’s beloved fists-in-the-air anthemia again sits front and centre but this time – while roaring percussion and ear-splitting guitars fight for attention before collapsing in on themselves – there is a palpable sense of desperation in Mads Baklien’s fevered cries. He explains; “This Is Not The End is a song for all people who have been through some f***** up things in their lives. Don’t listen to voices of negativity, be it your own or others’. Don’t wait for someone else to make things better. Don’t give up. Just get up and keep going.”

The EP houses a handful of new songs (Running All The Way Home, Oh Noand Fake A Reaction) as well as unreleased material from the album recording sessions, including the expansive and thoughtful electronic soundscapes of The Sum, and the ferocious and guttural This Is Not The End which inspired the title of their debut album and now finds its release as part of the EP.
The EP will be released on limited CD, digital and a limited clear-blue vinyl – the vinyl containing three additional bonus tracks, Daisy! It’s The New Me, Ghost Boy & Setting Sun, all taken from their breakthrough debut EP and all previously unavailable on vinyl.

More about Spielbergs?
Beating an intense, heavy path in the mould of Japandroids, Dinosaur Jr., Trail of Dead, Titus Andronicus and No Age, their ability to marry the soaring and uplifting with the dark and gloomy – forever bound by their strong sense of melody – has become something of a calling-card for the band, as have their knock-out live shows.
