Today, SQUISH Candies announced the launch of its first Ontario store. Located in downtown Toronto, on the concourse level of Hudson’s Bay Queen Street (176 Yonge Street), the artisanal candy store has officially opened its doors.
Founded in Montreal in 2014 by Sarah Segal, SQUISH is the first gourmet candy store in North America that focuses on specialized gummies and candies. After noticing a void in the market for more complex candy flavours, Segal drew from her experience as chief tea developer and head of product development at David’s Tea to bring SQUISH to life. With a more than 100 different gummies, SQUISH has flavour to match any mood: fruity, intense, decadent, calm or cocktail.
“We are thrilled to bring SQUISH’s unique collection of flavours to the Toronto market,” said Sarah Segal. “Our team works hard to elevate the candy experience and we’re excited to share our SQUISH philosophy with such a celebrated culinary city.”
