Over the past couple years Teen Daze has matured from its humble bedroom-project beginnings, to a fully-formed, diverse, musical expression. Always shifting sounds, trying never to repeat himself, Jamison has carved out his own unique voice in the world of electronic music.

Teen Daze has announced that he will hit the road once again this January, touring across Europe – see tour dates below. He also announced his ‘A World Away’ EP (out on January 13, 2015) that he made in celebration of his upcoming tour. Take a listen to the first single Reykjavik, January 2015 via Soundcloud below.

More info on ‘A World Away’ EP straight from Jamison? ‘A World Away’ was written throughout most of last year, mostly as sonic experiments outside of the work I was doing on my next proper LP. It was recorded at my home studio outside of Vancouver, BC.

My main goal with this release was to create something that lived somewhere between the new age and ambient music I was entrenched in, with more straight-ahead electronic music.  I’ve always loved the idea of creating music that I could hear at a club, but also fall asleep to. This EP is an experimentation in that concept.

I’ve played several of these songs during my live solo sets over the last year, and I’m excited to be taking this release on the road for a large portion of 2015. Playing shows and travelling will make up a lot of the next year, and I’m excited to get to create these atmospheres in a live setting.
