The Century reveal new track ‘Here’s To Nothing’

The Century

Portland’s power-pop quartet, The Century have revealed their latest single Here’s To Nothing. The track was lifted from the group’s ‘Losers EP’, a self-released effort, which was released on December 13, 2015. You can take a listen to Here’s To Nothing via Soundcloud below.

The Deli Magazine premiered the song, and Cervante Pope from Deli said this about the track, “It delightfully plays with both the lo-fi distortion of classic rock and the catchy, sing-a-long aspects of a good pop song.”

More about The Century? The Century formed in Portland, Oregon in 2014. A group of old friends who have played together in musical projects for over ten years.  After enjoying too much success playing extra-floor-tom-on-the-stage, americana-psych-folk they decided they needed to dumb down their sound.  They shaved their beards and curly mustaches, threw away all their vests and flutes and studied the annals of classic rock radio stations. Loverboy, Rush, Derrick and the Dominoes–these are the bands they knew they were destined not to be talented enough to sound like.
