This curated capsule clothing collection is the second collaboration between the THNK1994 Museum and pre-eminent scholar Pop Culture Died in 2009. To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of pop culture’s death, THNK1994 and PCD2009 pay tribute to some of the most memorable, deranged, and generation-defining cultural touchstones of the aughts. The collection includes a The Cropped Pool Water Hoodie and matching Pool Water Leggings, t-shirts and beanies bearing such iconic slogans as “Sugartits” and “Laguna Biotch,” and much more.

Previously, THNK1994 and PCD2009 collaborated to create an art exhibit titled Nicole Richie’s 2007 Memorial Day BBQ. THNK1994 on their inspiration for the collection: “There will never be another era like it. Rock Star Energy drink coursed through our national veins and the day started when the sun went down. Reclaim the scandals that are no longer scandalous. ‘Firecrotch’ used to seem like a really bad insult, but, umm, why? Wear these pieces with pride to pay your respects to anyone who made it out of this era alive (and when you’re out and about grabbing a Frappuccino).”

THNK1994 Museum’s suggested places to wear the collection:
-Dangling from a balcony
-Sneaking into a pool
-An art opening
-A SAND DUNE
-The rooftop Lindsay Lohan filmed Rumors on
-A 7-11 parking lot-Hardee’s Drive Thru-Rite Aid (at 4am)
