The Sound of Chaos, Freedom & Late Nights

Stockholm duo tibia (Elias Sahlin & Vide Willemark) drop their raw, reckless, and ridiculously fun debut album, ‘See What Heaven Looks Like Now’.

Born from boozy nights, written between Elias’s apartment and Vide’s studio, and bursting with uninhibited energy, this album is a loud, messy, and electric ride through their first year as a band—hedonism and adventure included.

Tibia pull from Nirvana, Suicide, and the early 2000s indie rock they grew up on, but they’ve carved out a sound that’s all their own. From the Beck-like grit of Walk on Candy to the indie bounce of Mary’s Lifestyle and the early-Killers shimmer of Molly in Mexico, it’s anthemic, urgent, and impossible to ignore.

“When you listen to tibia, we want it to feel like putting on your coolest jeans, doing a smoky eye, and feeling sexy. It’s about confidence,” says Vide. “The dream? Walking past a park in some random city, seeing a group of misfit teens drinking their parents’ wine, and hearing them blast our song. That’s the dream.”

Spontaneous, exhilarating, and unapologetically loud, ‘See What Heaven Looks Like Now’ is the sound of living in the moment—bad decisions, late nights, and all. Tibia might be your mom’s worst nightmare, but for everyone else? They’re the night out you never want to end.

See you at the bar.
