Tiger of Sweden launches flagship store in Toronto

Slavin Raphael proudly announce the launch of the Tiger of Sweden flagship location in Toronto which opened its doors on March 11 at 56 Ossington Avenue. Established in 1903, Tiger of Sweden, the clothing brand of Scandinavian minimalist fashion, has evolved with international fashion demand for more than a century.

Internationally, Scandinavian fashion is receiving well-deserved recognition for its distinct aesthetic, attractive cuts and cool factor,” said David Thunmarker, CEO of Tiger of Sweden.  “As a brand, we’re thrilled about the opportunity to present our collections in a discerning and fashion-forward market such as Toronto.”

Under the direction of CEO David Thunmarker, the Tiger of Sweden collections are currently available in more than 18 countries, including Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, the United Kingdom and South Africa…and now Canada. Fans of the brand include Henrik Lundqvist (New York Rangers), The Hives and Axwell (Swedish House Mafia) – and Culture Addicts are also major fans of Tiger.

Tiger of Sweden is a natural fit for the Queen West neighbourhood,” said Steven Slavin, president of Slavin Raphael. “We’re looking forward to showcasing the slim-cut suiting, high quality fabrics and clean Scandinavian design in our store.”

The Toronto flagship store will carry the men’s and women’s Tiger of Sweden and Tiger of Sweden / Jeans collections, as well as footwear and accessories. The 3,600 sq. ft. store’s design is modelled after the look of other flagship locations around the world, and was implemented through a collaboration of Canadian and Scandinavian tradesmen.
