Mark your calendars for March 11th as Red Shirt Pictures and Synapse Films unveil Charles Martin Smith’s electrifying directorial debut, ‘Trick or Treat,’ on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD.

In this offbeat fusion of metal, comedy, and horror, teenage outsider Eddie Weinbauer (Marc Price, Family Ties) endures relentless bullying at his high school, led by the intimidating Tim Hainey (Doug Savant, Melrose Place). Eddie finds solace in heavy metal, idolizing the enigmatic local superstar Sammi Curr (Tony Fields, A Chorus Line). When news breaks that Sammi has died in a mysterious fire, Eddie is devastated.

The twist comes when Eddie’s friend Nuke (Gene Simmons, KISS), a local radio DJ and close confidant of Sammi’s, gifts him a demo of Sammi’s unreleased album. In a moment of desperate hope, Eddie plays the record in reverse, uncovering a hidden message that momentarily eases his torment. But as the messages grow increasingly dark, a chilling question emerges: Is his hero manipulating him to exact revenge on those who once tormented him, or will Sammi literally rise from the speakers to settle the score?
