BEEFCAKE burst onto the scene in January 2024 with their debut single Angel Food. The duo—Dora and Nuch—are a unique blend of musical prowess and visual artistry. Dora, a classically trained singer, weaves influences ranging from Björk and FKA twigs to David Bowie into her mesmerizing vocal performance, while drawing inspiration from everyday moments and literature, including dystopian novels and the works of Edgar Allan Poe.
Meanwhile, Nuch, a self-taught visual artist, conjures vivid imagery inspired by nature’s quirks—from moths and bugs to the eerie beauty of fungi. His artistic vision creates a striking visual narrative that complements Dora’s sonic experiments.
