Philadelphia psych/shoegaze quartet, Weekender, have announced their sophomore EP ‘Floaty Feeling, Blue’ will be released on January 15th via PaperCup Music. They have now premiered the title-track lifted from the record. Take a listen to Floaty Feeling, Blue via Soundcloud below.

As the band has shifted, the sound has progressed with the addition of heavy synthesizers. Creating a record of dreamy, textured pop tunes, soaked in psychedelic effects. Over the course of the past two years, Weekender has become the band in Philadelphia to support touring artists coming through town including Future Islands, The Growlers, Nothing, Surfer Blood, Israel Nash, Peace, and Field Report, amongst others. With ‘Floaty Feeling, Blue,’ Weekender as set to conquer the rest of the continent.
