Wussy release new album ‘Forever Sounds’

Wussy

Cincinnati’s Wussy have released their sixth full-length studio album ‘Forever Sounds’ via Shake It / Damnably (UK). This new album finds Wussy crafting raw and melodic material, exploring such themes as hauntings, false prophets, aliens, and The Big Lebowski all blanketed inside layers of noise.

Rounding out a big week for the band, they also released a new video. You can check out their Spy vs. Spy inspired video for the track She’s Killed Hundreds via YouTube below.

Following critical acclaim on past albums from the likes of Pitchfork and SPIN, Wussy returned to the recording studio for ‘Forever Sounds’ with new vigor. The album blends Wussy’s pop sensibility with sound reminiscent of the band’s noise heavy live shows, which you can experience by catching Wussy on their nation-wide tour happening now.

‘Forever Sounds’ is full of themes of hope, determination, heartbreak, deception, aliens, the supernatural, the everyday, friendship, love, and second chances. Mixing Wussy’s dynamic and signature sound with new inspiration, it is sure to please both critics and fans alike.
