Pearly Drops are back. The Helsinki duo’s latest single, Heaven, is the first taste of new music from their expanded ‘The Voices Are Coming Back’ project, and it’s a shimmering, dreamlike pop journey that pulls listeners straight into their cinematic world.
Blending ethereal vocals, sparkling synths, and a sense of quiet longing, Heaven continues the narrative arc started on their 2025 album. Picking up where Silver Lake Mystery Forest left off, the track explores themes of identity, desire, and the illusions that chase us—all while leaning into a more direct, hypnotic melody that still feels unmistakably Pearly Drops.
The accompanying visualiser only deepens the experience. Inspired by late-’80s cinematic music videos and lo-fi karaoke clips found in Finnish pubs, it depicts a gothic, haunted love story unfolding in Finland’s snow-draped forests.
Written, produced, and mixed entirely by Sandra Tervonen and Juuso Malin, and mastered by Joe LaPorta, Heaven is a perfect example of Pearly Drops’ holistic approach to music-making—where sound, imagery, and story are all inseparable.
