Shed Seven have announced details of their forthcoming new album ‘Shed Seven’, set for release on 8th January 2027 via Cooking Vinyl. They’re also sharing the album’s lead single Stand Together, along with details of a surprise, instantly-sold-out acoustic show from London’s 100 Club tonight, compered by Steve Lamacq.
Appearing on Radio X to perform acoustically and launch the new single, the band confirmed their seventh studio album will be self-titled — a full-circle moment after a genuinely wild run of form. In 2024 they made chart history with their first-ever Number 1 album, ‘A Matter Of Time’, followed just ten months later by a second chart-topper, ‘Liquid Gold’ — putting them in the company of The Beatles, Elton John and David Bowie for multiple UK Number 1s in a single calendar year.

‘Stand Together’ — A Rallying Cry
New single Stand Together shows the band at their sky-scraping best.
“We are excited to announce the imminent arrival of our 7th studio album which is eponymously titled Shed Seven to honour the fact. We have taken great care in making this album what we believe to be our best yet, and we hope these songs are taken to people’s hearts. The brand new comeback single ‘Stand Together’ shows a statement of intent. It’s a call to arms and a rallying cry for some kind of unity in the world we live in today.” — Rick Witter

A Career-Best Run
In 2025, the band delivered a critically acclaimed Glastonbury set, described by MOJO as a “triumphant return.” They also picked up Best Live Act at the Independent Music Awards (voted by fans), before playing some of the biggest outdoor shows of their 30-year career.
