Brit-rock stalwarts Embrace are turning 30, and they’re marking the occasion the way any self-respecting band should: with a book, a vinyl, and a tour full of stories about running from the police in Leicester Square.
‘Good Good People: The Story of Embrace – Volume 1’ is the band’s first ever book, landing 28th August and told entirely in their own words — brothers Danny and Richard McNamara, Steve Firth, Mike Heaton and Mickey Dale looking back at Yorkshire childhoods, early influences, and the long, chaotic road to becoming one of Britain’s most-loved bands.
Two editions, both with music attached
Because a book alone wasn’t enough, both editions come with exclusive audio. The Luxe edition includes a CD of previously unreleased live tracks plus a signed, numbered bookplate. The Super Luxe edition goes further with a limited coloured vinyl LP featuring exclusive live cuts alongside brand new studio recordings of Fireworks and My Weakness Is None of Your Business — just 400 copies exist worldwide, signed and numbered.
