Gurriers bare their soft underbelly on new single ‘Pins’

Dublin’s own Gurriers are back with a new one, and this time they’re showing us their soft underbelly. The band shares Pins, the fourth track lifted from their forthcoming album ‘Nobody’s Coming To Save You’, due September 25 via their new label home, Play It Again Sam. Pre-save/order it HERE.

Musically, Pins finds Gurriers stretching into new territory — think 90s boom bap swagger colliding head-on with the alt-rock guitar grit that’s always been their bread and butter. But the real gut-punch is lyrical: Pins is Gurriers at their rawest, a song about loving someone else fully while barely being able to scrape together love for yourself. It’s that tug-of-war between devotion and self-worth, delivered with all the driving intensity you’d expect from this crew.

The track is another confident stride in Gurriers’ fast-moving ascent, following Nothing Happens Twice (currently sitting pretty on the BBC Radio 6 Music B-List) and “Nobody’s Coming To Save You” (A-Listed at BBC Radio 6 Music, with love from NME, Rolling Stone, KEXP and Wonderland), plus fan favourite Party Lines.

From Sweaty Clubs to Festival Main Stages

After a couple of years spent leveling up from sweat-drenched clubs to festival main stages and arenas, Gurriers have announced a run of September 2026 US tour dates, including stops at Riot Fest in Chicago and Levitation Fest in Austin. This marks their third US visit, bringing them back to Austin for the first time since their breakout SXSW sets in 2025 — and hot on the heels of a March run that sold out rooms in LA, NY, DC, Philly, Toronto and Chicago. Tickets are on sale here.

Recorded across Donegal’s Attica Studios and Holy Mountain Studios in London, ‘Nobody’s Coming To Save You’ was produced by Mark Bowen (Idles) and Loren Humphrey (Geese, Cameron Winter), with engineering from Chris Fullard (Idles, Sunn O)))) and a mix from John Congleton (St. Vincent, Modest Mouse, Swans). The record sees Gurriers scale up everything that made their debut so compelling — sharper dynamics, towering production, and an even more urgent worldview.

Building a Reputation, One Mosh Pit at a Time

Formed during the pandemic, Gurriers wasted no time building a reputation for bone-rattling, mosh-ready live shows paired with sharp, socially conscious songwriting. Since their debut, the milestones have piled up fast: a standout appearance on Later… with Jools Holland, main stage sets across Glastonbury’s Woodsies and Leftfield stages, and arena support slots alongside Turnstile and Kneecap.

On ‘Nobody’s Coming To Save You’, Gurriers channel protest, resistance and personal reflection into their most ambitious material yet. It’s everything that made them great — the chemistry, the interrogational worldview — souped up and scaled up. From the rattling tension of the title track’s opening moments through slow-burning intensity and dance-punk hedonism, all the way to a cacophonous, cathartic climax, this album takes the spirit of the sweaty basement show and turns it stadium-sized. Not just loud — dynamic.
