Art d’Ecco is hitting the road! The genre-bending artist has announced a string of select North American tour dates in support of his widely praised fourth album, ‘Serene Demon’—out now on Paper Bag Records. The tour kicks off May 27 in Seattle and runs through June 13 in Victoria, BC, bringing his signature sound to fans across the continent. Tickets are on sale now – www.artdeccomusic.ca/tour.

Serene Demon’ blends grand ideas with raw emotion, proving that great pop music doesn’t need to have all the answers—it just needs to make you feel something.

“If you’re constantly searching for meaning, take a pause. Life is happening right now,” says Art. “Happiness isn’t something you have to defer—just exist in the moment.”

A must-hear album for 2025, ‘Serene Demon’ was named one of Exclaim!’s Most Anticipated LPs, while lead single I Feel Alive landed a spot on INDIE88’s Great 88 and The Traveller was The Spill Magazine’s ‘Track of the Month’ in December. Fans can dive into the making of the stunning, seven-minute Serene Demon video through the lens of director and photographer Izzy Kaz at RANGE Magazine, and hear Art break down the track with Tom Power on CBC’s Q.

Art d’Ecco: Pushing boundaries, embracing evolution

With ‘Serene Demon,’ Art d’Ecco continues his mission to challenge and inspire.

Once you train the ear of the audience, a new precedent is set, he explains. Tastes evolve. Outliers become icons. That’s how pop music moves forward.”

To craft this bold new record, Art spent two months in New York, soaking in cinematic influences from composers like Henry Mancini, Ennio Morricone, and François de Roubaix, while imagining the lives of strangers passing by. He took creative risks, pushed his boundaries, and—after an attempted collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli—ultimately took full creative control of the album. The result? A sonic journey featuring nearly 30 musicians, with standout contributions from drummer Malcolm Holt and bassist Pascal Le Vasseur.
