Debut album: Moths strapped to each other’s backs arrives April 11, 2025 via Julia’s War Recordings
Fresh off a killer run at SXSW and a nationwide tour, Brooklyn’s Bedridden are keeping the momentum rolling with their latest single, Philadelphia get me through. The track, is a raw, urgent burst of frustration and hope, riding a wave of driving drums and searing riffs. With its desperate plea for escape and reinvention, it’s a full-throttle anthem for anyone trying to outrun their past.
“This is the most charged song I wrote for Moths,” says frontman Jack Riley. “I was spiraling, chasing a relationship that made me feel small. A one-off gig in Philly felt like my last shot at clarity, but the second I got home, I knew nothing had changed. That realization turned into this track—aggressive, relentless, almost metal by the end.”
Pre-order ‘Moths strapped to each other’s backs’
Produced by Aron Kobayashi Ritch (Momma) and recorded at Studio G, ‘Moths strapped to each other’s backs’ is a sharp-edged, fuzz-drenched deep dive into the chaos of early adulthood. The band first teased the album with Etch, a melancholic yet explosive gut-punch of a track. Then came Chainsaw, a full-throttle, grunge-infused anthem about the absurdity of roommate drama, accompanied by a visually arresting music video filmed in the eerie woods of Phoenicia, NY.

About Bedridden
Bedridden started as a solo project in New Orleans, with Riley weaving together influences from punk, shoegaze, and noise rock. After moving to Brooklyn, he linked up with bassist Sebastian Duzian and drummer Nicholas Pedroza, later rounding out the lineup with guitarist Wesley Wolffe. The band first made waves with their 2023 EP ‘Amateur heartthrob,’ a raw, self-deprecating chronicle of young adulthood that caught the attention of Philadelphia’s Julia’s War Recordings. Now, with Moths, they’re ready to take the next leap.
“Some of these songs have been living with me for years,” says Riley. “We wanted this record to capture the energy of our live shows—raw, immediate, and brutally honest.”
From the chaotic energy of Gummy to the angst-ridden Etch and the sucker-punch hooks of Ring size, Moths strapped to each other’s backs is a no-holds-barred soundtrack to figuring things out the hard way.

“This album is about being stuck—stuck in relationships, stuck in bad habits, stuck in your own head. But by the time you hit the last track, there’s this glimmer of hope, like maybe you’re finally ready to move forward. Moths is just the beginning.”
