French post-punk powerhouse chest. is back with a searing final single, Blood On Your Doorstep, before dropping their debut EP, ‘All Good Things End,’ on February 28, 2025, via Howlin’ Banana Records.
A Band Like No Other
chest. isn’t just a band; they’re a sonic wrecking ball. With three sound engineers, a pedal player, and an Englishman who prefers shouting over singing, they deliver a high-voltage blend of sharp guitars, pounding rhythms, and visceral vocals. Their music is an intense yet hypnotic whirlwind, fusing ferocity and introspection in equal measure.
Rather than simply reviving post-punk, chest. injects it with raw, urgent energy, crafting dark yet liberating anthems that explore alienation, regret, and the numbness of modern life.
‘Blood On Your Doorstep’ – A Stark Reflection
“This song is about the widening gap between the rich and the poor,” chest. explains. “We’ve become numb to extreme poverty, to the point where it’s barely even visible to us. The song mirrors this brutal reality with moments of intensity and violence.”
Live Chaos Awaits
Known for their explosive live shows, chest. turns every gig into a cathartic, high-energy riot—a space to dance, mosh, and scream along. They’ve already shared stages with Heavy Lungs, The 113, KNIVES, and Naked Lungs, including a few wild nights in Dublin. Catch them supporting DITZ in Lyon, Paris, and Lille this February/March, and don’t miss their set at Misty Fields Festival (Netherlands) this September.
