Reflecting on the track, vocalist and guitarist David Datura explains, “The choice between socializing or avoiding contact with other humans has never been this difficult. When stress overwhelms and burnout takes hold, we lose the strength to fight life’s unpredictable twists and turns. Instead, we surrender, tumbling into loneliness, anxiety, and a breaking point at every minor setback. So why not let an upbeat, melodic tune add a touch of sarcasm to our mental collapse? Sometimes, tearing everything down is just the beginning of rebuilding.”
Since forming in 2017, Datura has been on a relentless journey—first making waves with two independent EPs, then releasing their debut LP ‘Arcano Chemical’ on Northern California’s Sell the Heart Records in 2022.
