During last year’s CMJ, Dilly Dally performed a cover of Drake’s Know Yourself at the FADER Fort. The video blew up on the internet and the band were so excited by the response that they found some time between tours to record a studio version. The praise continues to pour in for their debut album ‘Sore’, which featured on several year-end lists including Gorilla vs. Bear’s 50 Best Albums of 2015, FADER’s Best Songs of 2015, Noisey’s 50 Best Songs of 2015, Newsweek’s Top 20 Albums of 2015 and on Pitchfork’s Best of 2015 Guestlist via Sadie Dupris of Speedy Ortiz. The band’s meteoric rise was also recently covered as part of FADER’s GenF series. ‘Sore’ is available now on 12″ vinyl or via iTunes – it’s definitely needs to be in your collection – it was one of our faves from last year too.
