Dot Hacker release debut self-titled EP

Dot Hacker based out of Los Angeles have just released their debut self-titled EP on 2/21 via ORG Music. Dot Hacker was formed in 2008, by four already established musicians having recorded and toured with Beck, Gnarls Barkley, PJ Harvey, Charlotte Gainsbourg, The Butthole Surfers and Broken Bells amongst many others. Klinghoffer, the band’s lead vocalist, also currently plays guitar with Red Hot Chili Peppers. Don’t be mislead, this band does not sound at all like RHCP (luckily) but instead sound more like Mogwai mixed with Jesus and Mary Chain and M83.

Dot Hacker will play The Troubadour on 3/14 in L.A, and plan to play more shows in 2012 to support the release of their debut full length album, ‘Inhibition’.
