Dream Pop band Winter releases new video for ‘Pretender’

Winter

Los Angeles-based Dream Pop/Shoegaze band Winter released their debut LP ‘Supreme Blue Dream via Lolipop Records last year followed by a single out via Burger Records in October titled, All The Things You Do. To coincide with the release of the single, the group headed out on a nationwide tour opening for Allison Weiss. They have just released the brand new video for Pretender, which is lifted from their debut EP is shot and directed by Matt Hogan and is a beautifully shot video capturing their fun antics and adventures from the tour. Watch it via Vimeo below.

Winter is undoubtedly among the top hardworking indie pop bands in Los Angeles right now. The group began in Boston, MA when Samira Winter began writing songs and with the help of Nolan Eley, produced the Daydreaming EP in 2012. After moving to Los Angeles, the group added more members and started playing live shows alongside Thee Oh Sees, Bleached, and Ought. With Winter relocating to Los Angeles and Eley moving to New York, they continued to make music together remotely and they finished their debut full-length album, Supreme Blue Dream.

‘Supreme Blue Dream’ is available on CD/cassette/vinyl now via Lolipop Records and will be playing with Summer Twins, Dante Elephante, and The Dream Ride at The Echo in Los Angeles on Thursday, January 28th.

Tour dates:
01/28 – Los Angeles, CA @ The Echo (theecho.com/event/943647-winter-los-angeles)
