FEWS share ‘100 Goosebumps’ video

Having signed to Play It Again Sam at the end of last year and as a ramp up to the release of their debut album ‘MEANS’ on June 3rd, FEWS share the video for their single 100 Goosebumps. You can watch it via YouTube below.

The video marks the video debut of new bassist Jay and once again sees director / animator Alden Volney team up with FEWS having directed the video for previous single The Zoo. Shot in a derelict and somewhat dilapidated old asylum in East London, the backdrop accompanies a track that has rapidly proven to be a live favourite with Volney capturing the frenetic dynamics to create a striking video.

Speaking of the video director Alden says: “I really enjoy working with FEWS. A somewhat improvised affair…. No script, no twist ending or overpopulated set, just the band and a raw energy to translate on screen in an eerily beautiful backdrop, there’s something about this that just feels right for their soulfully authentic music”

The Swedish / US quartet have been swift in getting things off the ground, 2016 has already seen a series of rapturously received live shows. Intermingled with their own live shows, the band have also accompanied the likes of Fat White Family and Money in Europe whilst the UK has seen them traversing the country as guests for Bloc Party and the recent sold out Spring King tour.

Produced by Dan Carey at his South London studio in the Autumn of 2015 theirs has proved a fruitful relationship – one that also occasionally sees Carey appear with the band for their live finale, the Krautrock inspired ILL.

‘MEANS’ will be available on CD, vinyl and digitally via Play It Again Sam. The album is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
