Foals’ ascension to rock’s premier league continues to soar with the news that they have been honoured as Best Act in the World at the Q Awards earlier this week, an honour previously bestowed to Coldplay, Muse, U2, and Radiohead. The day started with Foals leading the pack with three nominations (completed by Best Track and Best Video for What Went Down) alongside Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. The title is the band’s second Q Award after winning Best Live Act in 2013.
