Francie Moon has shared her latest EP, ‘New Morning Light‘.
You can take a listen to the EP via Soundcloud below.
Francie Moon is a garage pysch rock trio from northern NJ. Initially created by Melissa Lucciola, in an ever desperate attempt to help the world not have to remember “Lucciola,” she traveled the country for 2 years as Francie Moon from bar to coffeeshop, basement and whatever venue in a giant life outburst to get her music out there, see something new, and pave a way to bring her friends. Now when home she is joined by Richie Samartin on drums and Adam Pumilia on bass and they have been playing together since 2015. Since then they have released an American Songwriter backed EP in 2016, released their first full length in 2017 and headlined their first festival in 2018.
Last year, they started to put more focus into their recordings, lending their new songs to sound more full, more complete and interesting and are more than excited to share them. They’ve released a 7″ vinyl via Keeper Records and are set to release a cassette tape this summer. They have a really energetic and eclectic live performance that can take you from an all out punk sludge song to a beautiful instrumental featuring a singing saw, depending how long they play. Lucciola is described as having, “…a unique voice with really great guitar chops” (YDKJ) who “bleeds and sweats the music she makes…[and] possesses a voice and a delivery that makes you feel like you’re listening to a revered singer from a by-gone era” (Cool Dad Music). They have shared the stage with The Screaming Females, Emily Wells, Travis Stever (Coheed & Cambria), Chappo, Summer Cannibals and many more. When not making music together, they are making music in other bands and trying to stop themselves from buying cool new music gear they can’t afford.
‘New Morning Light’ is available now via Keeper Records as a 7″ here.
