New single Economy is out now and the band announce massive world tour!

Los Angeles psych-punk shapeshifters Frankie and the Witch Fingers are back with a vengeance, announcing their electrifying new album, ‘Trash Classic,’ set to drop June 6, 2025, via The Reverberation Appreciation Society / Greenway Records.

First taste? The searing new single Economy, a synth-laced, fuzzed-out sonic blitz that digs deep into the absurdity of consumer culture. Razor-sharp guitars, hammering beats, and a pulsating bassline pull you into a dystopian dance party where everything is for sale—including your sanity.

Trash Classic’: a new mutation in sound

If 2023’s ‘Data Doom’ cracked open a portal into warped cyber-psychedelia, ‘Trash Classic’ throws gasoline on the fire. This album snarls with proto-punk venom, unhinged synth-punk grit, and industrial-drenched mayhem—an explosive collision of the past, present, and some dystopian future.

The chaos of Economy

Frankie and the Witch Fingers break it down: “Economy invades your brain like a late-night infomercial, ruthlessly selling the shiny nightmare of consumer paradise. Synthetic basslines pound like a debt collector at your door, jagged guitars slash like overdue bills, and urgent synths ring like reminders for prescriptions you can’t afford. It’s grotesque, it’s irresistible, and by the time the electro-punk finale kicks into overdrive, it’s in your bloodstream.”

Frankie and the Witch Fingers are storming ahead with a relentless schedule of high-profile showcases. This is your chance to witness their incendiary live show before they take ‘Trash Classic’ worldwide.

World tour: bigger than ever

Fresh off their biggest shows yet in 2023—including headline festival sets, a killer KEXP live session, and Billboard chart success—Frankie is leveling up once again. This year’s world tour will be their most explosive yet, hitting Europe, the UK, the US, and beyond.

The making of ‘Trash Classic

Born in the grime of Vernon, Los Angelesy, where gutted RVs and rusting machinery dot the landscape, the band brought their vision to life at Tiny Telephone Studio in Oakland. With producer Maryam Qudus (La Luz, Spacemoth) at the helm, they pushed their sound to a razor’s edge—warping synths, pounding rhythms, and guitars that sound like cinder blocks through glass.

Days started with Looney Tunes cartoons blasting at full volume, while late nights were fueled by candy binges and fever-dream creativity. The result? An auditory dumpster bible—a gutter gospel for those ready to revel in its filth.
