Glare announce Fall 2025 North American headline tour

Texas shoegaze outfit Glare are taking their beautifully scorched sound on the road this fall with a full North American headline tour across September and October 2025. The tour follows the band’s run with Superheaven and their much-hyped sets at this summer’s Sound & Fury in Los Angeles. They’ll also hit Aftershock Festival in Sacramento and Furnace Fest in Birmingham before winding through the East Coast, Midwest, and their native Texas. Along for the ride in select cities: Cloakroom, Jivebomb, and Destiny Bond.

If you’re just catching on: Glare aren’t your average shoegaze band. Formed in 2017 in the Rio Grande Valley, they’ve got a reputation for selling out rooms and melting faces—not just with volume, but with an emotional intensity that’s more tidal wave than wallflower. The band’s debut LP, ‘Sunset Funeral,’ dropped in April via [label here if needed], and it’s already been praised as a late-night road trip essential (Knotfest), “a quadruple shot of Sunny D and Codeine” (Revolver), and a “comforting haze-warp” (Stereogum). Treble nailed it best: Glare care more about songwriting than gear settings—and it shows.

Sunset Funeral is as heavy as it is heady. It’s a record about grief, dreams, and all the weird, wordless emotions in between. Think heatstroke melodies, fuzz-drenched textures, and songs that feel like they’re cracking open the atmosphere. It’s humid. It’s hypnotic. It’s heartbreak at full volume.
