NYC-based power-popgaze band Heaven has unleashed their enthralling new single, The Fire You Know, the second taste of their eagerly awaited third album, ‘Dream Aloud,’ arriving April 4, 2025 via Little Cloud Records. Hailed by Paste Magazine, Under The Radar, Noisey, and The Deli for its self-aware lyrics, droning vocals, and pulsating synth textures, the track is a fever dream that delves deep into hidden secrets and fated beliefs.
Departing from their signature noisy guitar sound, The Fire You Know is anchored by lush string arrangements and the evocative cello of Megan LaMarca, recorded by her husband Anthony LaMarca from The War On Drugs. The result is a mesmerizing blend of melancholy orchestral vibes and razor-sharp hi-hats that create an immersive sonic experience.
The official music video, directed by Jeska Sand, takes you on a visual journey through the snowy landscapes of Upstate New York. Filmed around an early 20th-century farmhouse known as the Nowhere House in Narrowsburg, the video captures a stark contrast between the cold, desolate winter and the burning warmth of inner fire—a metaphor for stepping into the madness of belief.
‘Dream Aloud’ promises to be a transformative album.
