Hospitality are set to release their self-titled debut album on January 31, and have shared a track, Betty Wang, lifted from the album.
The story behind the track – Betty Wang is a real woman who was one of the only female execs at the investment firm where the band’s singer-songwriter Amber Papini worked. Amber admired Betty for holding her own and refusing to change her habits to fit in. “Su Chia” is Betty’s birth name, and part of the chorus.
