More about Rural Alberta Advantage?<\/strong> In 2006 singer-songwriter Nils Edenloff, percussionist\u00a0Paul Banwatt, and multi-instrumentalist\u00a0Amy Cole\u00a0came together to release their debut self-titled EP as The Rural Alberta Advantage. The ensuing years have brought two full-length albums (2008’s ‘Hometowns‘<\/em>\u00a0and 2011’s ‘Departing’), widespread critical praise (SPIN,\u00a0The New York Times,\u00a0Rolling Stone,\u00a0Pitchfork,\u00a0NPR, among others), two\u00a0Juno Award\u00a0nominations (Best New Group, Video of the Year), the\u00a0Polaris Music Prize Long List, and a hard earned reputation as one of the most impressive live bands you’ll ever see. It was through all of this that The RAA’s latest album, ‘Mended With Gold,’ took shape.<\/p>\n

The Rural Alberta Advantage also just released a live performance video from the band’s show on July 8 at\u00a0Massey Hall\u00a0in Toronto.
