Los Angeles duo,\u00a0Gal Pals, have released\u00a0the video for the track Do You Ever?<\/em>\u00a0to celebrate their record release show, February 24 at Los Globos. Do You Ever?<\/em> is featured on Gal Pals’ debut album, ‘Velvet\u00a0Rut,’ due February 24 on PaperCup Music – pre-order on\u00a012″ vinyl<\/a><\/span>\u00a0or via\u00a0<\/span>iTunes<\/a><\/span>. The video was shot in and en route to Palm Springs last September. Watch it now via YouTube below.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jillian Talley (drums) and Lauren Mikus (guitar), followed their dreams out west to Los Angeles, and quickly became enmeshed in the DIY scene out there. Just how good are Gal Pals? Lauren’s mom says, “Sassy, sensitive, smokin’, Gal Pals satisfies,”<\/em> while fellow artists such as Kate Nash said, “Gal Pals make me wanna be 7 and naked on a beach,”<\/em> and Ringo Deathstarr thinks, “They could possibly be the answer for all the world’s problems.”<\/em> If you need a little sunshine to get you through the doldrums of winter, Gal Pals, are your cure, with their raw, infectious, cut to the hooks and harmonies, pop songs.<\/p>\n

Gal Pals will take to the road in March, returning to their roots in Austin, for the SXSW Music Conference. Dates to be announced shortly, and in the meantime, you can catch them at the end of this month.<\/p>\n
