Dinner a.k.a Anders Rhedin recently signed to Captured Tracks, combines elements of EBM, Europop and darkwave, to make a sound that is “a bit like a sun-bleached cassette tape you’\u0092d find stuck behind your car\u0092s dashboard”\u2014last played at a party in Dusseldorf in 1984\u2014full of echoes of sweaty depressions, spiritual longings, and early-morning trances,\u0094 so says Rhedin. He is making his first trip to Austin for the South By Southwest festival this week \u2013 check out\u00a0his\u00a0SXSW schedule\u00a0below.<\/p>\n
