SOUNDS AUSTRALIA, Australia’s Music export initiative\u00a0has\u00a0announced their annual AUSSIE BBQ at Canadian Music Week 2015. This year to celebrate the country’s spotlight at the festival, there will be an additional BBQ at both The Horseshoe Tavern and The Rivoli on May 8. As well, SOUNDS AUSTRALIA presents the Sound Gallery showcase with some stellar Aussie acts on May 9 at The Horseshoe Tavern. See below for details.<\/p>\n

This year Australia, the festival\u2019s spotlight country, will welcome over 40 Australian artists to showcase across the week including international sensations Xavier Rudd & The United Nations and Ben Lee, as well as emerging acts such as Kingswood, Ecca Vandal and Hein Cooper and seminal Australian artists EVEN and Darren Hanlon.<\/p>\n

THE AUSSIE BBQ 2015 will be held across two venues on Friday May 8. In its 6th year in Toronto, THE AUSSIE BBQ returns to The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern and also expands down Queen Street to The Rivoli.<\/p>\n
