Modern Vinyl has premiered\u00a0Practical Skateboard<\/i><\/a>,\u00a0<\/i>the second single from\u00a0Lawnmower’s ‘Major Head Injury’ LP, which is due out via\u00a0Save Your Generation Records on August 21.<\/p>\n

Influenced by equal parts 90’s pop\/punk and 90’s alternative rock,\u00a0‘Major Head Injury’\u00a0has the band moving away from the Lemonheads, Weezer and Superchunk comparisons they were tagged with on their\u00a07″ EP Whack Yer Brain<\/a>\u00a0and drawing on influences from Pixies, Pavement, Eugenius, Husker Du and Dinosaur Jr.<\/p>\n
